Executive Director, HIMH Ministries
Laurie Krieg is the founder and the executive director of Hole in my Heart Ministries, a compassionate teaching, writing, and podcasting ministry focused on equipping Jesus-followers with a gospel-centered approach to sexuality.
Her husband, Matt Krieg, LPC, was a vital part of the launch of HIMH Ministries when it began in June 2015, and now is the director of counseling at Caring Well Counseling.
Laurie speaks and writes frequently including on her podcast with people like Gabe Lyons, Jackie Hill Perry, and Ann Voskamp. Laurie has shared her story at places such as the Q Conference and Leaders Forums alongside Dr. Preston Sprinkle. Laurie has taught at numerous university settings including Wheaton College Chapel, Cornerstone University, Kuyper College, Calvin Seminary, Spring Arbor University, Trinity Christian College, Grace Christian College, and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary as one of their keynote speakers for their Talking Points conference. Laurie served as the keynote at HIMH's Caring Well Conference--which gathered dozens of organizations, churches, and individuals seeking ways to speak graceful truth.
Laurie has guest-blogged for True Woman, Lies Young Women Believe and The Mudroom, written and recorded videos Our Daily Bread's Off the Page team. She has guest-podcasted with Chris Fabry Live! Theology in the Raw, Mom Struggling Well, The Antioch Podcast, Dr. Juli Slattery's Java With Juli, and was featured on the DVD curriculum The Whole Sex Talk by the Pregnancy Resource Center. Laurie also is a part of Lead Them Home's 2018 helpful guide for parents and families called Guiding Families. Laurie serves on the board of directors at The Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender, wrote a highly read article for the organization titled, 10 Things I Wish Every Christian Leader Knew About Gay Teens in Their Church, and shared her story on the important mini-documentary Dear Church: I'm Gay.
